A DC-area sports fan got maybe the best wedding gift of all when mascots for the Capitals and Orioles came out to shake their tailfeathers for the traditional hora dance after his nuptials. Jared Rosen told the Washington Post's Sports Bog that he had been a partial ticketholder to the Orioles and Wizards and a season ticketholder for the Caps. When he met his wife, Stephanie, she indulged his fandom by being entertained by the mascots.

When Rosen proposed, according to the Post, the Orioles bird and Caps mascot, Slapshot, was there. And so it was only fitting for their wedding, that the two birds would make a surprise appearance.
