While most Indiana Hoosiers fans were sad to see star big man Cody Zeller announce that he was leaving the squad, at least they understood his decision.

The 7-footer will likely be a lottery pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, and simply put, it's hard to turn down that payday.

But imagine hearing that Zeller was leaving, and having no idea why he was doing it. That's the predicament that a young Indiana fan found himself in recently.

In a video posted to Facebook, this toddler attempts to explain to his mother why he's so sad:

"Cody Zeller is not playing for the Hoosiers anymore," he says before wiping tears away from his eyes.

Making matters more frustrating, the little guy is not aware of the NBA. His father explains it to him, but it doesn't seem to help.

Poor kid. If only he understood how the NCAA's questionable restrictions on amateur athletes make it logical for them to decide to turn professional, this would all make much more sense.
