The Miami Heat arrived fashionably late to the "Harlem Shake" party last week with this video. While the Heat's Harlem Shake was posted a few weeks after the dance went viral, it still garnered millions of views on YouTube.

We're talking about the Miami Heat, after all.

But not everyone was happy to see the defending NBA champions' dance. The Minnesota Timberwolves, who played the Heat on Monday, quickly created a response video. It features a man in a Heat jersey doing the first half of the dance, and then the Timberwolves' mascot, Crunch, appears and pummels him with an inflatable bat.

After the Harlem Shaker is sufficiently beaten, the words, "Some things get old fast" appear on the screen.

This might be a little much, as the Heat were simply having some fun with their video. Plus, they were just one of many sports teams to break out the dance.

As it turned out, the Heat got the last laugh on Monday. Miami pummeled Minnesota, 97-81, to win its 15th consecutive game.
