This year the NFL Network's Rich Eisen has made it a priority to point out that, despite all the hate they receive, punters are people too.
And after watching the video below, Eisen might want to expand his campaign to include kickers.
In this clip, which was recorded by ElevenWarriors.com, the Buckeyes are doing some stretching during one of their spring practices. A few seconds into the video, secondary and special teams coach Kerry Coombs spots one of Ohio State's kickers taking a water break. And suffice it to say Coombs was not pleased with the young man.
"What do you need water for, Sunshine?" Coombs barks. "We're stretching! And you're a kicker!"
As if that wasn't enough, a few seconds later Coombs turns around for a final insult:
"Are you tired from stretching?"
Yikes. Turn it down, coach. Not only is it the offseason, this is a stretching drill. No need to explode on a player like this.
