Cyclist Robert Mennen's career took a scary turn in the span of a few seconds thanks to one rogue antelope.

Mennen was competing in the Cape Epic race in South Africa this week when, out of nowhere, an antelope jumped out of the bush and knocked Mennen off his bike. Mennen was traveling at 37 miles per hour, and the collision snapped his handlebars and injured his collarbone.

Mennen had a camera on his bike, and the video from the incident has been trending on YouTube.

Oddly, this isn't the first time that a bike rider was racing through South Africa when he was knocked off his bike by an antelope. A similar incident occurred in 2011.
