The IRB Rugby Sevens World Series third-place game had to be delayed this weekend for perhaps the most bizarre reason possible -- a parachuter landed on the field during the match.

Organizers had arranged for a skydiver to drop onto the field at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas with the game ball for the championship game featuring South Africa and New Zealand. But the third-place contest between Fiji and Samoa had gone into extra time, and the skydiver was literally the last person to find out.

This is so good it could actually be a Southwest Airlines "Wanna get away?" commercial.
