As if running a 10k in the middle of the summer wasn't hard enough, Edwin Kipsang Rotich had to overcome another scary challenge during the recent Sao Silvestre Race in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
As Rotich jogged through the streets of Sao Paulo, a spectator attempted to tackle him. Amazingly, Rotich shrugged off the distraction and went on to win the race.
Afterwards, police identified the spectator as 33-year-old Wallace de Sousa Nogueira. Apparently de Souda Noguiera has a history of mental problems and has been known to perform similar stunts in the past.
