It's a tradition unlike any other.

Every year, NBA organizations embarrass their players with hilarious(ly bad) renditions of holiday classics. Like death and taxes, these quirky acts are inevitable.

The list of teams releasing their own holiday singles over the past few years includes: the Denver Nuggets, the Atlanta Hawks, the Chicago Bulls, the New Orleans Hornets, the Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The first two renditions of this holiday season are out, and they are spectacular. The first is from the Houston Rockets, and it's the Hanukkah song "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel."

Give some credit to the Rockets for trying something new here, even if most of the players look like they've never heard the song before.

The Dallas Mavericks also released a video, this one to the tune of "Sleigh Ride." These guys get into it a little more than the Rockets, and even coach Rick Carlisle joins in.

Of all the players in these two videos, Mavericks center Chris Kaman probably deserves the MVP award. He is trying really, really hard.
