Joe Johnson's buzzer-beater in double overtime for the Nets against Detroit required a call as exciting as the shot itself.
And sure enough, Nets' play-by-play man Ian Eagle delivered.
With Jerry Seinfeld sitting courtside for Johnson's game-winner, Eagle crafted a famous Seinfeld line into his call:
"That was real, and that was spectacular!"
The quote comes from this episode of Seinfeld, where it is used for a very different purpose.
With Festivus right around the corner, let's hope for one or two more Seinfeld references at sporting games in the days to come.
