Anchor Hit With Bird Droppings During Telecast

As a news anchor, you normally don't have to worry about animals interfering with your broadcast. You're generally tucked away in a comfortable, indoor studio.

But when you're out in the wild, especially if you're broadcasting right next to a large bay, anything goes.

Covering the World Series in San Francisco, Paul Robins of Sacramento's KTXL morning show learned that lesson the hard way this week, when during a morning broadcast he was hit in the shoulder with bird poop.

While Robins' co-anchor, Bethany Crouch, doubles over in laughter, Robins can't believe his fate.

"One of my goals in life is to make it on YouTube," Robins says, "and I think I just did."
