Jeff Francoeur couldn't help himself. He had run all the way to the right field stands, but a Gordon Beckham foul ball eluded him. So when Francoeur spotted a fan in the first row with a bucket of popcorn, he had to grab a fistful.
Francoeur was crafty in taking the popcorn. All the fans in the section were looking at the foul ball behind them, and by the time they noticed what was happening, it was too late.
Earlier in the year, Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton took a snack from a fan in the stands. But at least he asked first.
