Despite what San Diego Padres fans may lead you to believe, catching a foul ball at a baseball game is unlikely and can be extremely difficult.
And so you can understand why one fan celebrated like she just won the lottery after grabbing a ball at Fenway Park during Monday's contest between the Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Royals.
The ball bounced around this woman's section, and after staying out of the initial scum, she deftly turned around in her seat and grabbed the loose ball. After claiming the souvenir, she stands up and raises her arms in celebration. Then she sits back down and appears to be overcome with emotion. But before long she rises again for her curtain call.
It looks like this woman was waiting a long time for this moment, and it appears to be everything she wanted and more. Good for her.
