A hamburger with a side of Skittles is one thing. A sausage made with Skittles is an entirely different, much less appetizing option.
Both dishes are tributes to the favorite food of Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, nicknamed "Beast Mode" for his hard-charging running style. The "Beast Mode" burger was introduced at CenturyLink Field for the Seahawks' NFC divisional game against the New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks sold more than 1,000 burgers.
And while we commend Blue Max Meats in Seattle for thinking up a creative way to honor Lynch, who has helped lead the Seahawks to the Super Bowl against the Broncos, the Skittles-infused spicy sausage may be a little much.
