Racing downhill on a skateboard is hard enough. It doesn't help when a deer appears out of nowhere and runs across the course.
During this year's running of the Buffalo Bill Downhill race at Lookout Mountain Road in Colorado, a deer sprinted onto the road and collided with one of the riders. A rider with a camera filmed the accident.
Before you watch this, you'll be glad to know that while the man suffered some serious scrapes, he walked away from the collision without any broken bones. The deer was OK as well.
In a bizarre coincidence, this is the second straight year that the race has been marred by a dangerous crash. Last year, a helicopter filming the event crashed near the course.
