Drivers on highway A1A in Cape Canaveral, Fla., were delayed recently by a wayward emu in search of love.

The emu, a 5-foot-tall male named Taco, reportedly jumped over his owner's four-foot fence in a desperate attempt to find a mate. Taco found his way to the highway, where he roamed around the road and held up traffic. He even lustfully approached several motorcycles. Taco's owner, Paul Eaton, says he finally captured the bird by throwing a hood over its head and putting him in his truck.

You've got to feel bad for the poor guy. If he's mistaking motorcycles for mates, you know he's desperate.
