In case you missed it, stunt driver Gregg Godfrey of Nitro Circus fame set a world record with a semi-truck jump of 166 feet this summer.

According to his Instagram post, Godfrey's goal had been 140 feet.

But while making his attempt during Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Mont., Godfrey got more than even he expected.

The previous record was 83 feet and 7 inches, so this was clearly a stunning performance from Godfrey.
