Things are going pretty well for Justin Verlander.
Less than one year after signing a $180 million contract extension with the Detroit Tigers, the 31-year-old is back together with supermodel Kate Upton and living the high life at Spring Training.
Verlander, a car collector, has rolled up to Tigers camp in a variety of different vehicles this year. He showed up on the weekend in a white Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, and this week he's driven an orange Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and a yellow Ferrari California.
At a smooth $381,000, the Roadster is considered to be the most expensive car in Lamborghini history.

The six-time All-Star and 2011 AL MVP says he picked up the car collecting bug from his dad. Verlander's collection has grown so large that it outnumbers the spots in his eight-car garage at his home in Virginia. That's right, Verlander has too many exotic cars for his enormous garage.
The other cars in Verlander's lot include a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Maserati Gran Turismo, a Mercedes-Benz SL55 and an Aston Martin DBS.
"I always envisioned having a collection if I made it and got to that point where I was able to buy stuff," Verlander told Jason Beck of MLB.com. "I would say I've got a pretty decent collection."
See, guys, it's not that hard to get Kate Upton's attention. All you need is a $20 million yearly paycheck, six All-Star appearances and nine of the finest cars on earth.
