It's tough being a Major League rookie. When Houston's Tyler White showed up to batting practice on Saturday, he found something strange in center field: His own car, a white Range Rover.
Based on the video, Carlos Gomez and Dallas Keuchel look happy to take credit for this rookie hazing (Gomez is propped up on the car with a cigar in his mouth). Some Astros took batting practice as fans filed in to find the car in the outfield.
White, however, was not amused.

And yes, batting practice did go on with Tyler White's car sitting on the warning track. Carlos Gomez bounced one off the top. #Astros

The Astros won Saturday's game, 6-5, but White did not play. He then went 0-for-4 in a 5-2 Sunday win, as Houston swept Oakland. The Astros travel to the rival Rangers Monday night.
