Jake Arrieta is easy to pick out of the crowd. Well, he used to be.
His thick beard typically makes the right-handed pitcher recognizable. That was not the case on Sunday, as John Lackey's wife posted a picture on Twitter before leaving from Chicago for Austin:
Goodbye Chicago, you've been amazing.....Austin here we come for you!!! pic.twitter.com/Cn3czW6IAv

Who is standing next to Lackey? It appears to be a beardless Arrieta. Indeed it is!
Over or under 3 days for Arrieta to grow his beard back? pic.twitter.com/pjmjkhh5va

Just as he did last year, the 2015 NL Cy Young Award winner, will begin the offseason with clean cheeks. This time, that decision comes off the Cubs' first World Series title in 108 years.
A dream turned into reality by the boys in blue, & our city of Chicago! I feel more connected to a city than ever before. Love you all pic.twitter.com/qFqnx8byvW

Fear not, Cubs fans. Arrieta has 137 days to grow back the beard in time for Opening Day.
