Crocodile in Pool

The Florida Keys are a dangerous place. On an otherwise peaceful morning, some homeowners in the area looked outside to find a surprise guest skinny-dipping in their pool.

The culprit: An eight-foot crocodile, just minding its own business.

Homeowners called the local sheriff, who brought in Fish and Wildlife officials to remove the crocodile and return it to its natural habitat.

Here's the story, broadcast by NBC 6 South Florida:

Apparently, nobody can figure out how the crocodile got into the pool, which -- for everyone that doesn't live in Florida -- sounds like the intro to a horror movie.

The best part, though, is that NBC6 South Florida filed this under the category "Only in Florida."

That's Florida for you: Insane, but self-aware.
