Becoming elite is a goal of every QB. These six players have the best chance to reach that level in 2017. Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins: With another year in Adam Gase's system, Tannehill has a chance to be great next season. Dak Prescott, Cowboys: After a terrific rookie season, Prescott needs to keep developing into an all-around great QB. Jameis Winston, Buccaneers: Winston is a gunslinger, but if he can cut down on turnovers, he'll tiptoe on the line of elite. Marcus Mariota, Titans: Despite the leg injury, Mariota is set to make a big jump in 2017 with rookie Corey Davis. Matthew Stafford, Lions: The veteran is close to being considered an elite QB, but a lack of playoff wins has hurt his resume. Derek Carr, Raiders: Carr has the best chance of becoming elite thanks to his arm talent and supporting cast.
